지난 9일 오후 3시 대구보건대에서 김지인 대외부총장, 김경용 국제교류처장, 유채형 창업교육팀장과 유엔협회세계연맹 김용재 서울사무국장, 서웅찬 사무관 등 관계자 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 글로벌 창업 교육 활성화를 위한 HACKATHON 창업 교육프로그램 운영 업무협약식이 열렸다.
이날 양 기관은 협약을 통해 아시아-태평양 지역 학생들을 대상으로 운영되는 HACKATHON 창업 교육프로그램과 콘텐츠 제공, 지자체 연계 기업가정신 함양 특강, 네트워킹 행사 등에 대한 적극적인 협력을 약속했다.
유엔협회세계연맹 김용재 서울사무국장은 “대구광역시, 대구보건대학교와 협력을 통해 지속가능한 발전목표(SDGs) 달성하고 아시아 태평양지역 청년들을 대상으로 글로벌 창업 교육프로그램을 운영해 기업가정신을 바탕으로 한 혁신 스타트업을 발굴·육성하길 기대한다”고 전했다.
김지인 대외부총장은 “우리 대학은 지역 인재 유출 문제를 해결하기 위해서 수준 높은 창업 교육 프로그램을 운영하며 지역 정주를 위한 로컬 기반 창업가를 양성하고 있다”며 “앞으로 운영될 해커톤 창업 교육 프로그램을 기반으로 아태 지역 청년 창업팀들이 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
